Hi,
I purchased an A81 Witstech 7 inch tablet. I put Windows CE 6.0 on it.
I need to find a good Bluetooth Manager app to install on the tablet so I
can create a Bluetooth Serial Port connection.
The Bluetooth Manager that comes with Wince 6.0 is very basic and does
not have many user friendly features. It can see and detect an external
Bluetooth Serial Port adapter, but how do you set up which Comm Port the
Serial Port Connection should be on ?
I put Basic4PPC on the A81 tablet and it works pretty good. I need to figure
out how to create a working Bluetooth Serial Port connection.
There is a 3rd party Bluetooth Manager made by a company called Adeneo.
This manager works and I was able to get it to work with Basic4PPC to
create a working Bluetooth Serial Port connection. Their trialware app will
only run for 30 minutes and then it will stop working. You have to keep
reinstalling it. The full blown software license for the product costs
$1,600.00 dollars US. I guess you can put it on as many devices as
you want once you buy the license. Thats to expensive if you just want
to use it on 1 tablet device that cost less than $200.00 dollars US.
Does anyone know how to setup a working Bluetooth Serial Port connection
in Windows CE 6.0 ?
I would really like to write some Basic4PPC programs for a 7 inch tablet and
post them in the forum ... but to make it interesting I need a working Bluetooth
serial port connection.
