B4J Question Windows Messages

Hi, Has anyone managed to send Windows Messages from B4J ?

Any help much appreciated

Can you give some more detail?, I'm not sure what you mean by Windows Messages

It is not something I have heard of before. It is something I need to send just before my App closes to trigger an event in the calling program (not mine so I can't use any other method)

Any established way for B4J to produce notifications for macOS/Win10?

I'm curious if anyone has made code to produce notifications on macOS and/or Windows? I believe it's called Notification Center on macOS and Action Center on Windows. You know, like these:

Java JNA has some methods related to Messages, it will depend if what you need is in there. Check out the JavaDoc

Is this the same as a message ?
It shouldn't be a visible notification

Unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start with this, I am just a B4X developer, too old to learn new stuff

Probably not. window-messages is something other.
I thought you were talking about windows-notifications.

Don´t know if it is possible with B4J though to send or receive with B4J.
Also Windowsmessages needs a window-handle (or process-handle) for Messages to send/receive

Maybe with a jni lib. Don´t know if such exists for B4J.

I don't remember seeing any thing that is wrapped and ready to go in B4j for Windows Messages either.

Does the calling program tell your app what type of messages to be sent? the message should include these members such as a window handle, a message identifier
