Windows phone is now picking up for real in some countries.

Has anybody tried to post Basic4ppc Windows 8 apps in the Windows Store ? Is it at all possible for apps produced by other than Visual Studio ?

Also, I already have Windows 8 apps for computers with the Metro interface and Windows 8.1 in the Windows Store that I wrote with Visual Studio. But it is so impractical (two pages to print, for instance), that I would love to use a better tool. Is there any plan to extend Basic4ppc for computers ?

You can write desktop applications with Basic4ppc. However not metro applications.

There are no plans to extend Basic4ppc.

What about placing a Windows Mobile application made with Basic4ppc in the Windows Phone Store http://www.windowsphone.com/store as seems possible at http://developer.windowsphone.com/en-us ? Has anybody done it ?

Windows Mobile is not Windows Phone. Microsoft has discontinued Windows Mobile platform several years ago.
