I wish that the IDE will have a real integration with source control like SVN , or at least enable us to build such an integration
suggestion will be right click on a module and checkout / check in from the IDE and ability to add to the source control (right click)
if too complex you can just enable the UI and API and I'm sure the forum will find the time to build the integration (most source control systems has AIP/CLI)
this way there is no need to move to a different client every time you need to edit a file
