The replace function in the IDE could need some simple intelligence. If I select some lines of code and press CTRL+H (instead of CTRL+F), it should check the 'search in selection' automatically. If nothing is selected, this should be off. The same could be done for CTRL+F from the moment that more than 1 word is selected.
