Working example for Prolific Usb To Serial device

Hi,
has anyone got a very simple working example of how to read and write to a
Prolific Usb to serial device.

My tablet is a Toshiba AT100-S102/16gb,
and YES, PL2303HXDSimpleTest.apk works perfectly!

Attached is MyNewUsb serial example.zip.

which is a slightly modified copy of
1.b4a in UsbSerialExample.zip

The answer is
It does not work with a Prolific Usb To Serial device. Rather try a different make such as an FDTI Usb to rs232 convertor - Fdtichip.com
