True story...
Once worked in a small company 20+ years ago. Five programmers - testers, Eight support staff including sales.
There was the one guy, the ONE guy, he had no life. (No wife, girl friend, kids. hobbies... ) He worked 60+ plus hours a week. His life was only work.
In the end he was promoted programmer boss.
He MADE every other programmer look bad because he worked twice as many hours as everybody else. The big bosses LOVED it!!!
And in the end (about 2+ years) every other programmer quit and moved on.
I know I did. Bad Karma.
