As a pedestrian, I will jump from solid block to solid block . I know, I may look childish .. but afterall I really am!
As a driver, it could be funny to look at pedestrian faces when you approach the crossing at moderately high speed and suddenly screech to a halt turning 90 degrees.. unless some officers are there

The answer is very simple "Yes" because u will see it like this only from a certain angle and thats from maybe 2nd or 3rd floor but not from a pivate car windshield.

You heard wrong. In italy we don't need red lights and this 3D work. In italy (sicily for me) we can't run with the car as the Streets are full of theseItalians...
