Hi dears!
The last few months, I wrote my own notification app which emulates a LED notification on top of the lock screen. It works perfectly since weeks on Android 11 (an old Blackview tablet) and 12 (XIAOMI with MIUI Global 13.0.16) and 13 (old flashed Samsung S6 Edge with Lineage OS Android 13).
Today I installed my LED app to my sisters smartphone POCO X7 Pro (8GB RAM, 512GB) with XIAOMI Hyper OS 3.0.301.0 and with Android 16 BP2A.250605.031.A3.
The installation via B4A Bridge worked fine.
After the installation: The XIAOMI App check worked fine as well.
BUT: After the first installation and after starting my app, my own installation/setting activity appeared for only 0.3 sec and disappeared directly.
There is no way to follow the first settings path step-by-step in my app in order to set correctly all foreground services, battery settings, lock screen setting and so on.
Within the B4A-IDE there was no logging anything. I guess I missed to install the bridge logger feature.
The app icon was visible on the home screen. I can always start the app, but it is stopped directly ... at once!!!! :-(
Unfortunately, I dont have any loggings, my sisters location is about 50 km fare from my location from here.
So I cannot test it anymore. At her next visit, I will try it again and I can say more certainly.
So... What a strange effect?! Isnt it?
I changed from SDK 34 to SDK 36 in order to handle better the Android 16 OS. But this change had no effect.
It would be great, if somebody perhaps has any idea to resolve this start-problem.
