And when I click on the check box it unchecks and there seems to be no way to recheck it. If I click around to try and get it to recheck after a while I get the message "app not responding from google" Any thoughts

I don't know at the moment, try the link in the library and use the thread files and examples and see if they work for you. Write down your requests in the library thread or open a new thread
