Referring to the youtube videos implementation from the following link, have a few clarifications could anyone please help me with it

1)Once getting the api key from the google console where do i update it on my app
2)Did not get it right from the 4th step if someone could please tell me on it

what is the problem ?

The problem is after execution it opens to a blank screen with no display, just the program name with the play video is what appears and even after click of the play video there is no video that plays, so could you please tell me what should be done here, i do not get errors as well
