Zoom scroll bar on HTC

Hi,

My HTC Touch Diamond 2 has a scroll bar on the lower end of the display. In the HTC photo program it is used to zoom in and out. Does any possibility exist to intercept scrolling with that bar in a Basic4PPC program?
