Share My Creation πŸŒŸ Introducing MutualMemo: Collaborate, Organize, and Share Like Never Before! πŸš€

Hello, everyone!

I'm excited to share our latest development: MutualMemo!
This app isn't just a note-taking tool; it's a new way on how we collaborate, organize, and share information in one unified space. Think of it like your favorite messaging app, but for group notes!

Unique Features of MutualMemo:

Real-Time Collaboration
: Experience live updates as your group writes and edits, perfect for organizing events, creating shopping lists, or jotting down group thoughts.

Privacy By Default: Your notes are secured with AES256 encryption – the industry standard for data protection.

Ad-Free and Privacy-Focused: We respect your privacy. No ads, no data collection for advertisement, no tracking. Your information is never shared nor sold.

The Inspiration: Inspired by the simplicity of messaging apps, we wanted to create a space where groups could collaborate effortlessly on notes.
Building a Secure and User-Friendly App: Our focus has been on ensuring that MutualMemo is not only easy to use but also highly secure, giving you peace of mind.

The Practicality of MutualMemo Over Messaging Apps:
Using messaging apps for notes often leads to confusion - important details get lost in lengthy chats and multiple message edits. MutualMemo streamlines this by keeping group notes organized and easily accessible, avoiding the clutter of conversation threads.

We Value Your Feedback:
Help us make MutualMemo even better by sharing your thoughts through this quick Google Form: Google Form (https://forms.gle/JxyWTZmvhoPNtSBb9). Your insights are invaluable to us.

Your participation and feedback will shape the future of this app! Learn more here: https://mutualmemo.com

Thanks!

Looks nice, congratulations on shipping.

One thought: You might want to clarify how you differ from Google Keep (web, app)

Also, you have a slight mistake in your Google Form:

Thanks for pointing out the mistake in Google Form, it is fixed now.

The difference between Google Keep and MutualMemo is mainly:
  • Google Keep allows sharing individual notes, but we offer a shared space where any group member can create and edit notes.
  • We provide end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only the intended recipients within the group can read the notes, enhancing confidentiality and security. While this might be overkill for shopping lists, it is not for other sensitive data you might want to write down.
  • We offer a non-Google alternative for those concerned about big tech's data collection practices. We understand the growing desire for privacy and provide a platform that minimizes data tracking, giving you peace of mind
Thank you for raising this question. Your comment is really helpful for us to articulate and evaluate the unique aspects of MutualMemo. This is still a work in progress and we appreciate this forum thoughts on this, it is really helpful.

Very good, congratulations on the project!
Thanks!
What technologies did you use?
Firebase, Supabase, developed their own apis?
Own apis. The app is developed using B4A and B4i, while the server utilizes B4J and Node.js for the Operational Transformation (OT) aspect, allowing multiple users to edit the same note simultaneously. (And Twilio for the sms verification)
