hi @Star-Dust, thank you for asking. I finished the quarantine and i cannot say that i am 100% ok but i am getting better every day. all my family is also positive now so they are at home. here is everything open and it seems like the gov want us all to get covid no matter if people die from it. really stupif

I am really happy that you are recovering, I hope the same for your family.
COVID sometimes seems to pass with few symptoms and then reveal themselves later creating at least anxiety and distress as well as bothersome symptoms.

Two years after covid, more is being thought about the economy

I don't understand, you have all been vaccinated several times.
Why do all vaccinated people get sick?
Doesn't this vaccination help?
not all are vaccinated. my two sons (4 and 8 years) are not vaccinated. anyway nobody said that the vaccination will protect your from getting covid. it helps people pass covid with fewer complications. especially for older people or people with other health problems. so people that are vaccinated are more likely to get a softer illness at least that is what the doctors are saying. i can say that for it was not to though, but i have a friend at work that did not get the vaccination (he is even younger than me) and he got covid and it was very tough for him. he told me that he thought he will die. he got it very badly. so it is up to you if you believe that the vaccine helped or you don't and are ready to take the risk. that is the real question.

Yes it does - a lot. It reduces the chance of an infection. It reduces the chance of a severe response if you get do infected, and if infected it reduces your viral load so you are less infectious to others. No vaccinations are 100% effective, their main purpose in a pandemic like this to to reduce infection severity so health systems are not overloaded. If health systems get overloaded then the knock on effects can be disastrous - not only from the deaths of the untreated from the pandemic but from the toll on other peoples lives who cannot get the elective surgery or cancer treatments they need for example.

Get jabbed please. Both for the good of yourself and for the good of others around you.

I am happy that I and my brother persuaded our parents (father 92 years and mother 87 years) not to vaccinate.
So sad reading this in 2022....

@Filippo i don't understand what you want to prove with the tables you posted.

in January 2021 Germany was at the end of a wave. daily new cases were about 9k in January 2022 Germany is in the middle of the 4th wave and daily cases are 180k so it only proves that the vaccination works because 9k new cases 64.9 death (without vaccination) but 180k new cases 142 death it should be around 20 times more but because of vaccination, you have less death.

anyway, i know it makes no sense to discuss this topic.

Many acquaintances of my parents, about the same age, died after the vaccination all alone, they did not even have the opportunity to see their own children again.

I'm happy my father is vaccinated, he got COVID 3 weeks ago and he is well.
Many acquaintances of my parents, about the same age, died without having been vaccinatted, they did not even have the opportunity to see their own children again.

I'm glad your parents are ok, and I hope they don't get COVID. Even if they get it, probably it will be mild, for reasons you will not agree.

Anyway, @Filippo I think we know your oppinion about vaccines, I disagree but I respect it, but I would ask you, please, not to start a discussion on every post containing the word COVID. There are probably many forums out there where people debate this topic, let's leave those topics for those forums.

There will be no further post from me on this topic, unless it is to wish someone a speedy recovery.

This is 100% true.
This forum is not the place to argue about vaccines. Future posts about it will be deleted.

Ilan, I wish you and your family a quick and full recovery.

I had to re-evaluate some of my personal feelings type past posts as well. Don't take it personally ... I for one agree with choice. But, I believe Erel is just trying to keep the site free of clutter, and nothing can clutter a site more that politics or religion. Even with my latest postings on blockchain technology, I very much mention my motivations for interest in said tech, yet quickly move on to specific questions or comments related to the development process. Hard separating personal & work in today's world. But, I am a happier person learning to do so.
