I forgot to mention that I use the Archos 1o1 (customers choice) right now, which works great and has a long runtime.

Erel - I meant USB for a keyboard device, that works on the Archos which runs Android 2.2.1

I just got the 10.1", 16GB Toshiba Thrive. It has a full-sized USB2 host port, as well as full-sized SD slot and full-sized HDMI. It also has a mini-USB port. It has WiFi and can network wirelessly. It runs Android 3.1 and has a 1280x800 screen, and a swappable battery. The 8GB model lists for $429 and the 16GB, $479.

I haven't read anything good about the Flytouch 3. It is a 4GB Android 2.2 tablet (a limitation of it only having 512M of memory) with a 1024x600 RESISTIVE display.

People seem to have a lot of trouble with the Flytouch. Not something I would want to give to users and have to support, even if I were inclined to inflict someone with a resistive touch screen. (I'm not that cruel.)

Did not noticed yet the resistive touch screen!
Thanks for the hints, I had already some doubts on the Flytouch, you have to read ALL the spefications.

Asus TF101 Transformer has all you want and more, and if you get the keyboard dock it becomes a netbook too.

The USB socket in the device is non-standard, but there are two standard sockets in the keyboard dock. It does not currently have any 3G connectivity, the 3G version hasn't been marketed yet, but it seems you're not worried about phone apps.

Hi Manios,

seen you develop on Archos 1o1 and would like to ask you if possible ref: dpi layout settings for the 1024x600 lanscape screen of this particular tablet.

I have tried:
1024x600x1.5 :- the layout is smaller than the screen
1024x600x1 :- the layout is bigger than the screen by 1' about.

Thank you,
Gabi.
