Share My Creation Solar Compass

Solar Compass is an android application that uses the current Sun or Moon position in order to find the true geographic poles.
Select a mode (Sun or Moon) and choose if you want your location to be found by GPS or defined by hand. When the dial stops rotating, point the Sun or Moon symbol to the respective celestial body and you get the exact cardinal directions.

By looking to the attached JPG it seems you mean 'elevation' instead of altitude.

Both elevation and altitude are used in astronomy.

Altitude: vertical distance between an object and the local surface of the Earth.
Elevation: vertical distance between the local surface of the Earth and global sea level.
The local surface of the Earth will be either land or water surface.
