Why did not you put these lines in your example:

#AdditionalJar: jxl
#AdditionalJar: Excel

I loaded the coresponding jar and I inserted these lines, but it does not find ReadableWorkbook, ReadableWorkbook.InitializeAsync etc.

They are not needed. You need to add a reference to jExcel in the libraries tag.

Though you should use jPOI anyway.
