Abstract Layout Not Updating

Hello all, I just installed Basic4Android and started playing with Designer. I am able to connect to my device via bluetooth - when I start adding items such as a label, they add fine but don't seem to update. So if I change the text on the label, increase the font etc., it doesn't show my changes. Once I install the app onto my device I see my changes. This makes designing difficult if I cannot see what it looks like until it's been installed...:sign0085:

I think that you are confusing between the abstract designer and the wysiwyg designer. The abstract designer is an integral part of the IDE. You can show it by pressing on Tools - Show abstract designer.

I think I understand it correctly...I launch the designer, and then I also launch the Abstract Designer from the tools menu. At that point, I select the label from the Add View menu located on the original Designer menu bar. The label is added to the Abstract designer; however, the text I have entered along with the formatting (size, color, font, etc.) does not show on the Abstract Designer. It simply shows the label object along with the name I have given to the label...

Thoughts?
