Android Question AdMob increase value

Hi to all! I was talking to my friend, java developer, when he told me he found a "trick" to increase admob gains. In a TabLayout, instead of placing the banners, you need to place a banner for each page, and adding a simple line of code would increase the number of views counted. He says he has multiplied revenue using this method. Does it really work? Does anyone know anything about it? Thank you all!

Your friend is showing a different ad on each of the pages. You can do the same thing. The code you posted is already implemented in the library.
Whether it is a good idea to load ads that are not visible is a different question. I recommend you to first check it with AdMob guidelines.

My guess is just luck that his earnings increased.

admob is pay per click based so...

if nobody clicks his ads he will probably get 0/day even if he gets thousands of impressions
if some people clicked an ad but he keeps showing several adviews his RPM will drop a lot faster than if he only had 1 adview. (RPM=earning value based on clicks/1000 impressions)

maybe he's using not a standard banner type that still earns something by just displaying them.
