Android Question Advertising ID or android_id

Hello, i need my app to get unique device id, is it still relevant to use phone.getsettings("android_id") or use advertising id instead as this thread : https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/advertising-id.101050/

I read somewhere that android_id cannot get ids on android 14.
I tested on my phone samsung s23+ with android 14, it is still reading android_id normally.

android_id is simpler and better in most cases.

Get unique id for user

According to Android rules, We cannot use android_id or device_id or mac_address in new version android As well, Use sms is not good idea for this Please suggest to me for use unique id in each device for user I need to it for use payment and other Thanks

Based on the Android docs it should work on Android 8+ devices.
