iOS Question An Apple developer license, cost 99$ per year.

At the risk of sounding cheap, is this required if I do not intend to publish the app as a download available to the public? I only intend to offer it as a direct download to existing customers. At the same time, I want to be legal.

yes, it is always required to buy the apple license.

Note that it is possible to install to a few devices without an apple account if you have a local Mac. However the apps will expire after 7 days.
