Hi All,
I am now adapting this and I hope others will do the same.
So many times we get help with our development works by the wonderful members of this these forums.. some help are very minimal, others are for-fee jobs
but others also could be a small job, but the helper doesn't ask for and/or refuse to accept any payment. A few days ago Peter Simpson's spent considerable time
in debugging some code until everything was working. I offered him a few bucks but he wouldn't take them. But since the amount was out, I donated it to the company
that made all this possible. Without Erel and AS this couldn't be possible at all.
My suggestion to you guys today is, whenever anyone of us received technical help from another member of the forum, while working on a project that he/she will make money from, then
please consider donating a small amount to AS.

But I've often wondered if people see my "AS" views and think: nice, another view from Anywhere Software.

I think the way this thread went indicates (to me) that the original post was offending..
If this is the case then I apologize to Erel, but nonetheless I personally found it fair to say thank you, not only to those who
helped others, but also to the man who made all that possible, and will continue to act accordingly.

As I saw it, your post could not be offending to anyone, on the contrary I read it as positive thing that's why I liked it.

Simply, when I read the "consider donating a small amount to AS", it immediately made me think of the libraries preffix of that user, and decided to add my "drop of humour", knowing that sense of humour can depend on the context, and then the party began, perhaps hiding the original purpose of your thread...

To be clear, my reply had absolutely nothing to do with trying to express offence or dislike with your first post, just as I guess that the other members did. ?

Well, this thread took a weird turn. I seriously doubt anyone could be offended by it in any way. Well, except the fact that I still haven't received any donations, which is both confusing and infuriating! But the day is still young, let's see what happens! :)

Nah, how could anybody possibly be offended by your original post, now that does not make any sense at all. Nobody is offered by your post, especially not Erel so there's absolutely no need to prematurely apologise for anything.

Jordi is 100% correct and there's seriously no way your post offended him or any of the following posters.

Yesterday I saw your post and I thought to myself that is actually a very very very good idea.

I've helped plenty of B4X users via PM, some of those users have offered to pay me as a thank you, but I've always said no. I help B4X members because I enjoy doing so, plus on some rare occasions when I help users via PM, I sometimes learn something new myself, but not in your case ;)

All I really want is for b4x.com to flourish and for more new younger members (fresh blood) to join the fold.

Don't forget, I originally helped you without having any hardware on me, plus the final code update only took me a couple of minutes to finalise. Timewise I didn't really spend that much time on your issue, last weekend I was already busy watching The Godfather parts 1 , 2 and also 3, and also 'The Mandalorian', so don't worry about it.

And finally, as I Always Say.

Never thought a leg pulling will create problem.
See we all are facing lots of restriction and socializing with friends is just online.
So we just got carried away.

We all respect you thinking and agree 100% with it.

All participants to this thread are the ones who are helping others, therefore none of you is expected to donate because you're already donating your time and energy. The people I meant didn't show up yet! They're the recipients .. That said, I thank you all and individually for the sentiments.
