Api Request count in Parse Library

I just tried Parse Library. First of all, it's very easy to use, thanks for this. I just sent some push messages to device for trying the library. I didn't save or load anything. But in Parse dashboard, api request count is much more than push message count. I saw 17 push messages and 151 api requests in the dashborad. What is the reason for this?
