apk version number not changing

I am having an issue where the version number of my app wont change. I have upgraded changed from 1.8 to 1.9 and & updated the version in the project section in the ide.

Every time i build the app & try to upload it i get the same version error in google :sign0104:.

Are you sure that the "Do not overwrite manifest file" option is not checked?

Wow, I've played with this thing for a couple of days to try to get an updated version on google. See attached.

-"Do not overwrite manifest file" option is not checked
- verson number in header is "2"
- aapt returns "1" for version number
- google rejects APK file since the version number hasn't changed.

Are you sure that the "Do not overwrite manifest file" option is not checked?

Check the manifest file itself, it might be set as read only.
