Android Question App crashing ?

Please Help:

Why is the app freezing up after I send the command atrv + cr, the obd2 elam327 responds with the voltage value.
If I try to send a new command:
It does nothing else (buttons or screen), for a while then "error app is not responding close or wait"

Can anybody help with this ?

You should use AsyncStreams instead of TextReader.
