I think you will run into problems when someone will be using a new device.
Then you need to update the certificate with that new device's id.

I think applications will be removed from the store. Current users will be available to run your app if they have already installed. You can't do any updates or anything else.

Thanks Erel for your answer

but I am a little bit lost, when I look at my apple developper account settings I can see that the certificates will expire on Oct 22, 2018

and my membership on February 10, 2018

does that mean the non-store application will be running until Oct. 22, 2018 ? and after we cannot use it ?

it is a little bit hard to have to paid every year for an application with no updates and no new devices?

could you explain these points ?

Thanks a lot Erel

Welcome to apple's little cesspool. You have to Pay to Play my friend, biggest reason why I dont use Apple devices anymore.

All installed apps signed with your certificates quit running when the certificates expire. You say you dont use the Store, well all your non-store apps will quit on that February date.

Even if you renewed, they will still quit. You will have to re-sign and reinstall the apps with the new certificates to keep working.

Store certificates and apps dont have this issue.

installed Apps should run normally, but are they available on the Apple store? I don't think so any more for new installations.
