Application Shortcut Issue

I have made an application in Basic4Android,When I create a shortcut icon for this application in device screen it works fine.after restarting the device my application shortcut gets disappear but other than Basic4Android application (download from market)can not disappear.pls advise why Basic4Android application shortcut disappear after restarting the device.

Maybe it is because you didn't install the app from the market. Are you using a custom launcher? Or home screen?
