arrows and symbols in text

Is it possible to put arrow or symbols in text that will be used in buttons? I assume there is a font thing that you are going to tell me about.

Yeah. Hold the "Alt" key and type the number in this list on the keyboard numpad.

that didn't work. you mean in the layout designer, correct? in the text input area

It works for me in the layout designer and with this:

btnUP.Text = "↑"

MLDev is correct. All 4 work in designer and IDE. If you want to go fancy, you can add text and image to a button. See Snapshot in attached picture on how to change the button properties in designer.

Ahhh, my laptop doesn't have a numpad. I only have numbers above the alpha chars. Although if I copy and past the symbol it works. Anyone have a list of symbol somewhere?

Bingo.

Now, when copying and pasting into the layout designer it does not emeber the chars. I assume it's because the font is not loaded in. It gives garbage when pasting into 'text'

I used it this way:
Button1.Text = "->" (the symbol you want, I can't type it because I post by using mobile phone).
