Android Question Audio recording pause (append file.mp3)

How could I record from the microphone (to file test.mp3) then stop it. After a while restart audio recording from the same source and same settings but append the recording to file old file test.mp3

I was able to record to a file (using audiorec library) but when I restart the recording it is replacing test.mp3 with the new recording , how could I append the new recording to the old recording?

You can use AudioStreamer to record the audio and append it to a wave file (or PCM). When you are done convert the file to mp3.

but i still cant figure out how to write the recording to a file or how to append a recording.
can you give me a code or a sample ?
