Hi,
often I can not connect with B4a Bridge.
To connect I have to stop B4a Bridge in the application managment or try to connect several times.
Have I a problem with my router or with new version of B4a Bridge? Or else ?
Can someone help me?

Why, when you ping 192.168.0.9 is your ping going off to 192.168.0.6? Which gives you the address unreachable response. This would seem to point at an issue with your router.

What is the device connected to 192.168.0.6?

When did you last switch it off?

What is the lease time on devices?

192.168.0.6 is the pc.
My router can not set lease time.
I never switch off my router and my smartphone, I switch off my pc.. sometime.

Firewall issue? Address filtering or limiting? Try switching some of the security stuff off and see if that makes a difference.. Something is stopping it communicating.

Obviously switch it all back on again (apart from the part that is stopping the communication) once you resolve it or if nothing works, turn it all back on again.

This may be a silly question but I notice that in the image of your phone screen, B4A Bridge has not been started - it is not listening for a connection. Are you sure you have it listening for a connection before attempting to connect?

Hi,
Only in the screenshot B4aBridge is not connected. I always connect after it starts.
Yes, now I think then problem is router, but it is new (20 days old) and I did change firmware to new release
or smartphone radio wifi after a bit time go to sleep, I'll tray with a sticky service that ping the router every 3 seconds.

I disabled SIP ALG in WAN setup, but I do not think it is the problem.
Anyway thank to all for yours time.

hi,
using a Samsung I9000 android 2.2.3 my connection problem with ba4 Bridge vanish and the connection is a flash.
I am thinking problem is android firmware 4.1.2 or something above.

Hi,

the output of b4a-bridge shows that you haven't pressed "Start - Wireless" first.

Please check your firewall (PC), too. There are no known issues. I use WIN XP and 8.1.

Are you running any other sw on the phone (Antivir or so which might block some connections)? What's that little icon next to the red € sign? Looks like a WiFi with a clock sign...

Hi,
Solved.
I removed AVG antivirus on my smartphone and B4a bridge works perfectly now.

Unfortunately, it has been a coincidence.
After further testing I came to the conclusion that the problem persists unless there is a network connection established before connecting B4A Bridge.
If I connect to the network (eg the Internet) b4aBridge works as it should.
At this point I think it's a problem of my smartphone, as if the wifi to fall into hibernation.
Thanks again for valuable suggestions
