Android Question B4A data packet to VB

I have a problem,

i am still at the stage of working out how i am going to do it, but I want to send a few bytes(numbers and letters) over WiFi, to a server, which will be my laptop, with a vb2010 forms program. This will then interpret them, and send them to a serial device(arduino). The serial bit already works, and i only want one client. What is the best way of doing this? I can program relatively fluently in Basic, and have a good idea of the activity lifecycle etc...

You can use AsyncStreams in regular mode (non-prefix mode) to send bytes. It is quite simple.

A better option is to make your desktop app with B4J.
