alwaysbusy Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jan 20, 2019 #3 + it needs the java SDK and the Android SDK, also not available on Android.

agraham Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jan 28, 2019 #7 I don't see why you couldn't edit .b4a and .bas files with the Quoda editor on a device. The annual Premium cost is dirt-cheap and well worth it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.henrythompson.quoda Quoda supports VB syntax highlighting which is close enough to B4X to be useful. The IDE Tools -> B4A Bridge -> File Explorer facility makes copying the files too and from a device very easy.

I found this interesting Android app: RadBuilder It is targeted for those who wants to build business app. It is a product of Longtion (http://www.longtion.com/). But it seems they have removed the Android version currently. Regards, Last edited: Jan 29, 2019

There is nothing special about the b4a files. You can edit them with a text editor. Maybe the editor used the wrong end of line characters (should be \r\n).
