B4J Question B4J MySQL - JDBC2 server SSL error

Hi All,

I have put a JDBC2 server on my network MySQL system and I get the following SSL warning.

Mon Jul 26 15:52:26 AEST 2021 WARN: Establishing SSL connection without server's identity verification is not recommended. According to MySQL 5.5.45+, 5.6.26+ and 5.7.6+ requirements SSL connection must be established by default if explicit option isn't set. For compliance with existing applications not using SSL the verifyServerCertificate property is set to 'false'. You need either to explicitly disable SSL by setting useSSL=false, or set useSSL=true and provide truststore for server certificate verification.

Can someone advise where to put the "useSSL=false" command. My server is an inhouse linux box running MySQL so I don't think I need SSL.

You mean jRDC2.

It should be added to the jdbcurl in the configuration file.

JdbcUrl=jdbc:mysql://localhost/test?characterEncoding=utf8&useSSL=false

Yes sorry typo should have been jRDC2 and will give it a try.
