Best image quality vs scale

Hi !

I have a tablet 7 " with 800 x 444 x 0.75 (120 dpi). When I conect and enter this values in designer it sugest 1066 x 592 x 1.0 (160 dpi).
I want to show a photo with a imageview in this tablet. The photo will be resized with another program before insert into B4a

I can do :

1 - Set a variant with 800 x 444 x 0.75 and resize the photo to 800 x 444 or
2 - Set a variant with 1066 x 592 x 1.0 and resize the photo to 1066 x 592

In order to get the best image quality in a imageview with one should I use ?

The variant values will not affect the image quality. It is less confusing to work with normalized variants (scale = 1).

I think that an image of 1066 x 592 will look better.
