It seems like a problem with .Net Framework.
Windows XP is supported. Several beta testers use Windows XP.
Can you try to install B4J: www.b4x.com/b4j ? I wonder whether you will get the same error.
It is also worth checking the event viewer for any additional information.

I have exactly the same version as you. I have also B4J on my machine (v1.50) and it is running fine.It seems like a problem with .Net Framework.

I'm currently updating a lot of DLL with Microsoft Update. Maybe that will solve the issue.
Try B4J v3.00. It is also based on .Net Framework 4.0.
All my DLL are updated. I will test again when I have some time.
The problem is between Sandboxie, the program that I use to run apps in a sandbox, and .NET 4. As Sandboxie is used to run various versions of B4A on the same PC, I have some choices to make for the future.
