Just today I noticed that:

1 - Android. At least in my smartphone, if you want to uninstall an app, to find it you have to scroll through all of them, there is no search functionality.

2 - Windows. Same thing; open programs and features, I see a list of 268 installed programs but no search functionality.

It must be very difficult to implement ?

Well, I developed an app do uninstall others... many years ago, I don't know if it still works.

But the "topic", as you know, is not this one.

click the first entry and then start typing just like in most other Windows 'windows'.

if I enter it it jumps to iTunes.


ok, it's not really a search as entering 'of' won't get you to office as it is as Microsoft Office in the list but it's still better than nothing

oh, the search at the top right even works there aswell. Hard to see that it is there tho.

that's the one, Alexander.

but here it's a bit bigger than the size of that magnifying glass so I didn't notice it. (I use the entry method instead)

Windows 10 has a search box for "add and remove programs"

268 apps installed!!! Is that every version of Candy crush, lemonade crush, crystal meth blast, fairy gem drop, etc....?

No games (except for one developed by me with b4j, for testing, which will be the one published as an Android app instead. By the way... 2 days to make the b4j-desktop version, about... 23 years for the one to be published ?

I don't know what all those 268 SWs are, probably also... a hundred old versions of b4a and b4j ?
