I understand about retrieving the images- way cool. Now about files and filenames. Is there away to see which files are in the binary file before retreiving data from it? IS there a FileExist for binary files. I bet I can first dump it... and then look.

"Binary file" is a general name for all non text files.
You are asking about files with images embedded using EmbedFile method.
There is no FileExist that searches for this type.
These files are usually created by the developer, why do you need to search for these files?

I see what you are saying-
What I am trying to do is package all my files into one file (.dat) so the user won't see these files lying around- simpler transporting, etc.
(i.e.- I can ask for one file and what my user will actually send is the package of 3 files.)
