Tomy who patented this decades ago might have a software patent for it aswell taken when they made the Wii version they released years ago.
Software patents are wide ranged and simply states computers or devices running programs and that includes everything including smart phones.

nice idea kurng but you need to redraw your images.
you can notice the bad cutting from the front image if you look close (some pixel left and the frame is not looking smooth enough)
you may try to use GIMP or PS for that. if you need help let me know.
