Android Question BLE Example - HM-10 Bluetooth device not visible

Hi

I've got an Linksprite HM-10 Bluetooth shield aboard an Uno (Photos below). I've previously used this exact hardware with a B4A app (using original code with serial library) and just tested it and it still works.

Wanting to use the BLE2 library:

Trying the BLE_Example.zip, the manager.scan2 doesn't detect the HM-10 at all. Weirdly, it does detect the Bluetooth id of my computer.

Alternative test: Using a Playstore sourced Bluetooth terminal app., the phone connects to the HM-10 immediately.

Any idea what is going on?

maybe your code is filtering the name of your module?

Please run the example project and post the logs.

It appears there is a failure on the shield, as it generates an error response for all the configuring AT commands. I was tricked with an AT+OK.

I have decided to file it... in the floor receptacle.

Moved on..
