Android Question BLE runnimg slow

I notice that the information coming from a BLE device runs slow. Is there a way to sped it up? Sometimes runs fast, sometimes takes up to 20 seconds to get the information.

There isn't any API available that will make it faster.

Why you suppose is so unpredictable? Is it the tablet?

As I wrote in the BLE library thread, the BLE implementation in Android is far from being stable.

I have slated many products to push out in the next month or so. The Android implementation should be more stable now right? When do you think you will have something more stable? Really, the only problem I have is when it makes the connection for the first time it takes too long to get the data, after that is fine. Sometimes it takes a long time to make the connection sometimes is very fast.

May be as a work around if there is a away of telling the app to instead of searching for all available devices, can we tell the app to search for a specific device?

Please don't make me switch to iOS.....

The Android implementation should be more stable now right?

It might be more stable when Android 4.4 is released. I really don't know.
