Android Question Bluetooth and Android 4.2

I found on my new Android 4.2 that if to turn Bluetooth off by Toggle lib, or BluetoothAdmin.Disable - the adapter cannot be switched on again until reboot of the device.

Is it bug or feature ? Who can test or tested also ?

Sounds like a bug on your device. It works fine here (tested on several devices).

BluetoothAdming.Disable just calls the native disable method.

I checked on another brand device basing on the same MTK6589 CPU - the same issue with switching Bluetooth on after switching off by BTadmin.Disable !
It was tested on Android 4.1

Bluetooth cannot be on even manyally until rebooting.

Another app is switching Bluetooth on so that the system question to allow Bluetooth is appeared in Android 4, 4.1, 4.2.
Our BluetoothAdmin switches without any question to user.

And those app - switch BT off and on without any problem on this MTK processors.

Seems, BTadmin is not so universal way to toggle the BT.

And finally updating the firmware of the device to the latest official one has solved BT problem in Android 4.2.1
