Android Question Buttons Displaying Incorrectly Since Android Update

I just upgraded my phone to the new Marshmallow OS, and one of my apps isn't displaying correctly anymore. I also got a "bug report" from someone that downloaded my app. It seems that it has only affected buttons for me, using a Galaxy S5.

I posted the screenshots here so you can see what exactly is going on. The new one looks messed up on the X, I, and Update buttons. What is causing this, and what can I do to fix it? I also attached the screenshot from the bug report I got, which shows the text boxes being messed up on the LG G3.

It uses the newer style. It looks like you need to increase the views sizes or decrease the text size.

Are you setting the theme in the manifest editor?

I was hoping it might be as simple as that, I'll try that out the first chance I get. And no, I'm not setting the theme in the Manifest Editor.
