Camera Library - 1024x768 or 2048x1536?

Erel,

I've written a simple app which uses the "official" camera library (not ACL).

From what I've read the resolution captured is 1024x768 and this cannot be changed. On my main device (2.3.7) this is true.

I've now deployed the app on a second device (2.2.2) for testing and this device produces images of 2048x1536 resolution with the exact same app.

Any idea why this would be?

The Camera library uses the device defaults. It may change between different devices.
