Android Question Camera manual focus by touching the screen

I have an old mobile whose camera does not support the continuous auto focus feature. In its native camera app, focusing is done by touching the camera image: the focus moves to the touched area. I did not find a way to reproduce this behavior with any of the B4A libraries and classes.

There is a native method named setFocusAreas that can do that. However it is only available in Android 4+.

I have version 2.3 on my phone... this means you can only focus on the moment when you take a snapshot? Bummer...
