Java Question Can FirebaseNotificationsService.java be used a a start for extending a Service?

A user requested to build a library which uses a Service.

Can the FirebaseMessagingService from https://github.com/AnywhereSoftware...b4a/objects/FirebaseNotificationsService.java be used as a basis to implement the Service?

Yes. There are two possible approaches:
1. As done with FNS where it starts a B4A service based on its name.

2. Use #Extend to subclass a service: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/example-of-extends-in-service.74880/
I think that the second option will usually be simpler to implement.

1. I already saw that example and i thought this must be ok. I created this thread about that the example is older than the FCM-Service so i asked about the new one ;-)
