Android Question Canvas drawing doesn't work in Release Obfuscated

I have a signature pad app that does not work using B4a v7.0 when compiled in release obfuscated mode.
It does work in debug and in Release mode.
It has worked in release obfuscated mode since this mode was introduced years ago.
Has anyone experienced the drawing on canvas failing under these circumstances and if so, what was done to fix this problem?

Is there any event associated to the drawing ? Remember to put an underscore in the sub's name if any because of the obfuscation

There's probably an issue with a Sub name which means that the obfuscation renames it and it loses the link...

Don, I wouldn't hide an error...it just doesn't work.
You drag your finger and nothing happens, no error, no line.

I will check all sub names for underscores, but I'm sure this was addressed years ago since obfuscation has always required this.

Alas, this is correct.
The problem was my test tablet was dying...now completely dead.
All works well on the replacement.
