canvas problem

I have one data entry page to input data and one canvas to show the processed data . When I comeback to data entry page again and edit the data , the processed result will be displayed on the previous text on canvas . How to clear the previous text on canvas ? I tried activity.invalidate , but no use .

You can also use Canvas.DrawColor to fill the whole bitmap with the same color.

What if the view you are drawing on is transparent?

The bottom line is that you will be able to draw with a "transparent" color in the next update.
