How far can Canvas go when programming a game with it? I have seen the examples on the forum and the Ball Tapp games on the market, while impressive.. I am wondering if something like Glow Hockey (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.natenai.glowhockey&hl=en) is capable with b4a canvas. I haven't seen many examples of OpenGL and b4a, is OpenGL the way to go for something like this? Sorry guys if this is a dumb question, still new in the ways of B4A :sign0104:. My personal opinion:
you need opengl when you are doing one or more of the following:
-3d
-pixel/shader/lighting/blending effects
-dealing with large/many bitmaps
