Coding Anywhere with B4X...

Now that I think about it... that "Coding Anywhere..." has that nice rhyme to "Anywhere Software"..

I was not thinking about that, but when I started writing this chat, that's the first thing that came to mind. This was one of the things I thought about last week but for some reason forgot to prick the forum about it. So this lady that is asking me to help her with her python work, which runs on Google Collaboratory sparked my thoughts again. Never done python in my life!!!

Imagine you just opening your laptop, going to a b4x website, you code online and your stuff is saved to your google cloud, you test and debug. Whala! You left your laptop at home by accident, go to an internet cafe, open your b4x online profile and can code, no installation but just pure B4x heaven.

You can put your code in a vault if you want and if possible.

Ahh, privacy and big brother is watching, packet sniffers.... Poof!

What is Google Collaboratory anyway? Let me find out.

Thats what git is for AND b4x products can actually live in a usb,

I really really really dont care for the whole "Move everything into the cloud" movement.

It gives big conglomerate corporations too much control. As well as "Big Data"....

Sorry, tinfoil hat time. lol.

Me neither. I'd rather carry my stuff around on a USB drive than entrust it to a 'cloud' where I need paid connectivity to access it.

so, i looked up Collaboratory and it said :
Colab notebooks allow you to combine executable code and rich text in a single document, along with images, HTML, LaTeX and more.

looks like a virus looking for a place to pandemic - i wonder what the virus checkers would make of a file containing all that lot.....?
