Other Communication error: ConnectFailure

Hello,

When I try to compile something I get the error below.

B4i version: 3.50
Parsing code. (0.06s)
Compiling code. (0.22s)
Compiling layouts code. (0.00s)
Compiling debugger engine code. (3.07s)
Building Xcode project (0.04s)
Sending data to remote compiler. Error
Communication error: ConnectFailure

Did my remote builder license expire or is there something down at the server side?
(it worked fine yesterday)

The minimum version for using the hosted builder is 4.40.

since when? as I wrote in my first post it worked fine the day before.

The builders were updated to Xcode 9 two weeks ago. Xcode 9 requires B4i v4.4+.

The change was announced two months ago when v4.40 was released. It was later announced several times in the hosted builders announcements thread: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/hosted-mac-builder-announcements.52265/

The announcements thread was cleaned a few days ago.

ok but how do you explain the fact that it worked fine 2 days ago and now suddenly it doesn't while the change is there already a few weeks?

I need this Xcode9 to make my apps work on the new apple devices?

It would have failed in several cases such as when you try to submit your IPA to the app store or if you try to install B4i-Bridge on an iOS 11 device. It stopped working completely after the host name change.

As previously announced you can continue to use the older versions of B4i with a local builder.

no it's ok. If you can mail me an upgrade mail I'll renew now instead of the planned upgrade in Feb. together with the remote builder.
